Nazarat Taleem invites applications for teaching Physics at Secondary School Level. The Education Requirement is BSc, BS and MSc in the relevant subject. Experienced candidates will be given a priority. Students currently doing BS Physics can also apply.

Dr. Qamar A. Shams

Dr. Qamar A. Shams

Dr. Qamar A. Shams leads a multi-disciplinary research team working on fundamental instrumentation and sensor problems of global interest. He has expertise in design and development of pressure, acoustic, temperature, electromagnetic, biomedical, deep underwater, and general measurement science. Over the year he has demonstrated mastery of measurement and analysis techniques related to instrumentation and sensors as applied to advanced/future aerospace concepts. He manages multi-million dollar budget for the procurement of contractor, instrumentation, laboratory and computational resources and maintain labs and facilities as state of the art. His position requires of Mastery and skill in applying the art and science of a professional discipline sufficient to formulate, evaluate, nurture, and promote the generation and exchange of new theories, concepts, principles, method, application, and practice; to plan, evaluate, and execute short and long range programs with goals impacting national and international issue; and to extent the disciplines knowledge boundaries. Dr. Shams received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering (with emphasis in microelectronics fabrication) from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR and M.Sc. in Physics in 1984 from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. Dr. Shams has published and presented more than seventy papers at National and International conference, twenty of them related to infrasonic measurement system for aerospace application. Over a period of last ten years he has received more than 40 awards that include NASA,s 2013 Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal, International R&D100 Award, Federal Laboratory Consortium Award, Green Technology Award, several of Engineering Directorate’s Innovation Awards, Whitcomb & Holloway Award (2010), Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal (2005), and numerous superior accomplishment awards.
