He has over 13 years of petroleum industry experience in seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization and G&G evaluation studies. He has extensive experience as trainer and interpretation workflow mentor of advanced geophysical applications and experienced in teaching geophysical courses to MS level and supervised/evaluated research projects of students. Dr. Ahmad’s research interests include attribute analysis, seismic inversion, spectral decomposition techniques to resolve issues of hydrocarbon exploration. Dr. Ahmad has published various papers in international journals.

Dr. Syed Jalid Ahmad

Dr. Ahmad earned his B.Sc and M.Sc in Botany from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and PhD in Plant Pathology from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA. He has published over 13 research papers in international journals and has two international patents to his credit. He is a devotee and has served as Principal for 18 years in the Institutions of Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Pakistan and West Africa. His research interests include genetic engineering of biological control fungi which are rhizosphere competent and the study of the mechanisms involved. He has a wealth of teaching as well as administrative experience.

Imran Ahmad is currently working as affiliated faculty at the Food Engineering and Bioprocess Technology (FEBT) program, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT, Thailand) where he oversees Graduate and Postgraduate Research Laboratories and Teaching activities. He has a total 16 years of experience of food industry and post graduate academic research. Before joining AIT, he has been working as a Project Manager (manufacturing) in Dutch Mill Group – Thailand’s largest dairy company. His core areas of research interests are quality management in fresh produce, agri-food supply chain management, application of artificial intelligence in food industry, predictive modelling etc. He has co-supervised a number of research projects in the areas of postharvest of cereals, fruits and vegetables, dairy and value-added food production. He has authored 9 original research papers published in high impact (ISI) journals, 7 conference papers and co-authored 5 book chapters and served as one of the Editors of the text book ‘Functional Foods, Dietary Supplements: Processing Effects and Health Benefits’ published by Wiley-Blackwell (UK). He has provided professional services in Thailand, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Laos PDR, Vietnam and Cambodia through AIT outreach activities, sponsored research and training projects.
Dr. AAMIR MINHAS KHAN (Visiting Faculty)
M.Sc and M.Phil in Physics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad Pakistan. Ph.D in Material Physics and Chemistry from Wuhan University of Technology, China. His research area was energy storage in supercapacitors.
Dr. Mirza Sultan Ahmad, MBBS, DCH, FCPS (Visiting Faculty)
Dr. Mirza Sultan is a dedicated Pediatrician at Fazl-e-Omar Hospital Rabwah. He also serves as a visiting lecturer of History and Comparative Religion at Nusrat Jahan College, Rabwah. He has published over 55 articles on a variety of topics related to History and Comparative Religion in a number of renowned journals and newspapers. His publications also include three books on History; Silsala Ahmadiyya Vol. 2, Silsala Ahmadiyya Vol 3, (http://www.proceedings1974.org/khasusi-comittee-main-kya-guzri-1974-book/). He is also an active speaker on the subject of History and Comparative Religions and has thus far participated on 5 TV shows.
Dr. Naseer Shafique (Visiting Faculty)

He has more than 25 years of experience in Geographic Information System, remote sensing, biostatratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy. His core expertise are High Resolution Imageries analysis, enhancement and integration into Enterprise Geographic Information System, intelligent digital mapping to evaluate information, assessment of land use information from high resolution imagery, develop policies and procedures related to GIS. He also worked on environmental analysis based on High Resolution Imagery. Dr Shafique has published and presented in various international journals and conferences.
Mr. Mahmood Akbar (Visiting Faculty)
He has 30 years of experience with Schlumberger and worked as Chief Geologist Middle East, Geology Advisor Schlumberger International & Manager for advance research on Geology & Petrophysics programs. Mr Akbar has more than 35 international publications and 6 patents to his credit.
Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad
Shahid (degree awarded for a seven year course in theological and comparative religion studies from Jamia Ahmadiyya), Archaeology (Peshawar University) MPhil (Hazara University). He is Former head of History Department JA. He has a 19 years’ experience of teaching history and archaeology to under graduate and graduate students. He is a writer of several books and has published many papers in national and international journals. He is working as an archaeologist, field archaeology trainer and an independent writer, researcher and consultant. His research interests include DSS studies, Early Christianity, Eastern Captivity and Diaspora, History and Archaeology of Kashmir and Ancient trade routes
Ms. Rashida Sultana
A Botany lecturer and vise principal of operational management with a wealth of experience in performance development. She has earned her M.Sc. Botany, B.Ed., M.Ed. Science Education and M.A Pol Science from different universities and is currently M.Phil. Scholar. She worked on a project “Effect of radiations on the productivity of wheat” at MSc level. She did many online courses like Useful genetics, programmed cell death, Epigenetic, Biostatistics, Geospatial & mapping and crash creativity from famous foreign universities. Moreover, she has been involved in departmental projects of drosophila, 3R principle and water quality analysis.

Miss Maria believes in creating environment that encourages independent learning and that every student has different talents. She has earned her degree (M.Sc) in Geography from GCUF along with professional qualification B.Ed. She has working experience on different cartographic and GIS software and she is highly motivated learner of Map Making .She has earned her certificate from foreign university in maps and geospatial course. She is passionate lecturer who uses creative ways to engage her students in learning.
Ms. Noor Us Sabah
M.Phil. Pharmacology Dr. Noor-us-Sabah has completed her Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) with the Gold medal. She has also completed her M.Phil. in Pharmacology from University of Sargodha in 2013 taking ‘’Assessment of the effect of changes in the chemical structure of the drug on its pharmacological activity’’ as a field of interest. She has a working experience of almost one year in Tahir Heart Institute as Dependent Prescriber and Nursing students Lecturer. Currently she is working here as a lecturer of Chemistry at intermediate and graduation level.

Alia Nosheen is serving as Psychologist and Lecturer at NJC since 2012. She has earned her (B.S Hon’s), and M.Phil in clinical psychology From university of Sargodha. She has 6 months experience in psychiatric clinic. She has extensive experience in clinical psychology and is committed to developing quality academic programs and raising standard in education. She undertakes frequent responsibilities like counseling of students in choosing subjects, daily problem solving and also teaching B.Sc students.
Ms. Sadia Jawad Makhdom

With her rich experience, dedication and passion in teaching English language, she provides good learning material for her students. She is serving as an English Lecturer in NJC. Her qualification is M.A English literature and also has a professional degree in Education (B.Ed). She has seven year experience of teaching in Nusrat Jehan Academy Girls School. She did German language course from Goethe Institute. She is currently working as an in-charge of English literary committee and member of magazine committee.
Ms. Fatima Batool
M.Phil Zoology from Government College University Lahore Fatima Batool is serving as lecturer in NJC and a zoologist. She received her M.Phil. Degree from Government College Lahore. Her research is focused on the “Effect of eupatorium petrolatum and crotalus horridus on blood count, liver and kidney or albino mice (mus musculus)”. Currently she is a Ph.D. scholar.
Ms. Fareeha Saleem

academics. Miss Fareeha Saleem has completed her BS(Hons) in Computer Science
from University of Sargodha. Now she is an energetic part of dynamic faculty of
NJGC and managing all affairs regarding Computer labs.
Ms. Durr-e-Samin Tahir
M.Phil. in Genetics and M.Sc. in Animal Sciences from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She has 17 years of experience in teaching O-levels and S.S.C Biology. She has been awarded shields for best All-Round Teacher in years 2002-2003 and 2011-2012, showing her excellent teaching abilities. Her research abilities are polished in Drosophila Genetics and her scientific and technical skills are exhibited by her keen interest and participation in numerous conferences and workshops. Ms. Durr-e-Samin Tahir has 2 publications and is currently a Ph.D. scholar. Moreover, she has life time fellowship of “zoological society of Pakistan”.
Ms. Naila Mubarik
BS (Hons.) Zoology Miss Naila Mubarik is serving as lecturer of zoology and holding the position of coordinator of life sciences department. She completed her degree from University of Sargodha (2014), adopted embryology as her subject of interest and gained research experience on prevalence of malaria and dysmenorrhea. She is working as research volunteer since 2014, currently member of research group at Nusrat Jahan College in the fields of malaria, plastic pollution control and BPA free plastic testing.
M.Sc. in Botany, Ms. Amt-ul-Basit is currently lecturer of Botany at Nusrat Jahan College, Rabwah. She completed her last degree from University of The Punjab, Lahore. She is M.Phil. scholar right now at University of Lahore. She has over 7 years of teaching experience at various institutions. She is very passionate lecturer with good technical and professional sills. She has devoted her life to serve Jamaat e Ahmadiyya.
Ms. Maheen Salmaan
Ms. Maheen Salman is currently working with Nusrat Jahan College, Rabwah as lecturer of chemistry from April 2015. She has completed her MS. as well as BS. degrees from Lahore College For Women University, Lahore. She evaluated Diphenylene Amine Derivatives for Toxicity and Mutation Control during MS. She had also adopted “Relation between Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus” as her topic of interest during graduation. She thinks that vast opportunities for career development based purely upon achievements and results.
Ms. Ammara Tariq
With her degree of Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy), Miss Ammara Tariq is working as Chemistry lecturer. She has completed this degree with first division from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. She had two years experience in British Council for the conduction of O-Levels, A-Levels Cambridge, Ielts and ACCA Examination as senior invigilator and room supervisor. She also applied her abilities in Fazl-e-Omar Hospital by doing 6 weeks internship. She believes in critical thinking, creativeness, examination planning, team work and time management in order to achieve good results.
Ms. Shaista Khaliq
Master of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry, Miss Shaista Khaliq has been appointed as Lecturer of Chemistry here. She gained her degree of M.Phil. with CGPA 3.96/4.00 from the University of the Punjab, Lahore (2015), adopting “Injectable Biopolymer Based Hydrogels for Drug Delivery Applications” as her topic of interest. She also completed her BS (Hons.) degree in Chemistry from Government College University, Lahore. She has three international publications, achieving the impact factor of 3.09. She is result-oriented individual with ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
